MERMAID and HEADLINE.TV join forces

  

Scandinavia's largest Instore TV company Mermaid A/S (http://www.mermaid.eu/), quoted on the Danish market for small companies (First North).

The transaction means that HEADLINE.TV AS, the Norwegian company, becomes a subsidiary of Mermaid A/S. The Danish and Central European activities are also incorporated in Mermaid A/S. Shareholders in HEADLINE.TV have exchanged their shares with shares in Mermaid. The main owner of HEADLINE.TV has also injected new capital in Mermaid, thus controlling 14% of Mermaid's shares and will consequently be represented on Mermaid's board.

We believe the deal is a clear win-win for both companies and our customers. Synergies include product range, geographical presence and vertical markets.

Mermaid is a turn key solution provider with focus on retail shops, transport companies, corporate information channels, and public sector information displays. Mermaid currently has offices in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Mermaid's core competencies are media conceptualization, software development, hardware production and design, content production and administration, media sales, as well as services and support to end customers and project management.

HEADLINE.TV will be able to offer a broader pallet of services and products to existing partners in Europe, and brings Mermaid a solid footprint in Norway. Mermaid also benefits from existing customers in Denmark together with a solid network of partners in new countries such as Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

Together, our ambition is to continue to grow with our existing partners, and extend our partner network in Europe.

Olivier Plas will in the new set-up be responsible for Mermaid's expansion in the countries outside of Scandinavia. Daniel Bloch will continue to run the Norwegian office.
